No matter what form(s) the player chooses to take, the main game is still always completable. Numerous secret areas can be accessed via using a particular form, such as areas blocked off by bars or grates that can be accessed as a Genie in its Gaseous Form. These areas often, but not always, end in boss battles. Unique to this installment, Alleron has gained the power to shapeshift, giving him the ability to assume the forms of 24 different creatures, including but not limited to a humanoid ram and a griffin.ĭuring the course of the game, Alleron travels through six different worlds where he must do battle with members of specific races that call each of these worlds their home. He must defeat a horde of flesh and metal invaders that have begun to replace the villages with steam-powered cities. In Shifters, you return as Alleron, who was previously the protagonist in Warriors of Might and Magic. It is a direct sequel to Warriors of Might and Magic's PlayStation 2 iteration.
